Ingredients:
- 1 pound Lean ground beef
- 2 eggs
- olive oil
- medium onion diced
- 2 1/2 teaspoons minced garlic
- chunk of day-old Italian bread. Moisten it with water & squeeze out liquid
- ¾ cup grated Pecorino Romano cheese
- ½ cup chopped flat leaf parsley
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- salt/pepper
Directions:
Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees
In a pan sauté the onion and garlic with some olive oil until soft. Let it cool.
Place all ingredients in a bowl and mix well
Form into golf ball size meatballs or larger if preferred
Place on a cooking sheet lined with parchment and cook 20 minutes at 375 degrees or until done. Let the meatballs cool.
Put meatballs into a baking dish & add your favorite Cent’Anni sauce & bake at 375 until internal reaches approximately 165 degrees.
