Eggs in Purgatory

Recipe serves 4


  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 jar of Cent'Anni Puttanesca or Family Secret Sauce
  • Salt & Pepper
  • Grated parmigiano cheese
  • Italian bread (optional)


Pour Cent’Anni sauce in a non-stick fry pan and bring to a simmer

Make an indentation in the sauce with a spoon and crack an egg into it. Repeat until all eggs are added

Salt and pepper eggs and add grated cheese. Cover pan and cook eggs until white is set or desired level

Serve with Italian bread for dipping
